String Art Valentine's Day DIY

I made this simple Valentine's Day String Wall Art for my sweetie 

and took some pics along the way to share.  

Quick, easy and handmade from the heart. (Awe!) 

Also fun for kids, if your little one loves tools like mine does.

 You only need a few items found around your house or at any craft or hardware store -

♥ Red Twine or String

♥ Wood board

♥ Stain or Acrylic Paint

♥  Nails (I used stainless Wire Brads)

♥ Hammer 

♥ Paper, Tape, Scissors

I watered down my paint so that the wood grain could still be seen. Hammer nails in about half way & spaced out evenly. (Cute little kids hammer!)

Tie off string on one nail and get started...

 And Voilà! Easy Valentine's Day gift made with LOVE by you or your little one for that 

special someone!
